Fried Ravioli / Pizza Bread Pockets

Fried Ravioli / Pizza Bread Pockets

Easy and yum!! Ravioli is a stuffed pasta with a simple cheesy filling inside served with marinara sauce! Inspired by the fried ravioli concept, I made it simpler by using bread instead of pasta dough! You may also call it Pizza Bread Pockets!

Crunchy coating with simple, cheesy pizza filling inside the mini pockets made it my kids’ favorite! This is a perfect option if you are in a hurry or if you have a sudden guest and are out of ideas about what to cook instantly!

To make it more appealing garnish with some parsley and parmesan cheese. Serve with pizza sauce

  • Fresh Bread
  • Chicken cooked with salt, chilly powder, and soy sauce
  • Small piece of bell pepper chopped finely
  • Some olives
  • Parsley & basil chopped
  • Mozzarella cheese
  • Chilly flakes
  • Oregano and Italian seasoning
  • 1 tbsp cream cheese
  • 1 tbsp tomato paste or pizza sauce(if you don’t have pizza sauce just mix mayo& ketchup)
  • Bread crumbs
  • Egg white or all-purpose flour mixed with water

Cut sides of the bread, and cut bread into 4 pieces

Place the filling in the middle press it lightly and close it with another piece. Press the side and seal it tightly with a fork. Dip it in the apf mix and coat it in bread crumbs. Deep fry or air fry it
