Potato Spirals

Crispy, flavorful, and attractive potato spirals are on the menu today! A great appetizer to add on a kids’ party menu! My kids enjoyed every bit of it! Have it with any of your fav dips and you are good to go!

I know potatoes are one universal veggie that everyone loves alike! So I’m sure these spirals are not only meant for kids, but adults also relish it as much as kids! As winter is here such easy peasy fried goodies are a great savior, right? I mean once in a while it’s ok to have fried goodies!😉

Ingredients

  • 3 potatoes boiled with salt
  • 2 cube cream cheese
  • 2 cloves garlic minced
  • 1 beaten egg
  • 3 tbsp cornflour
  • Salt if needed
  • Chilly flakes
  • 1 0r 2 tbsp milk
  • 2 to 3 tbsp boiled and minced chicken(totally optional)\

Method

  1. Mash the potatoes well
  2. Then add all other ingredients and mash and mix well to make a lump-free smooth batter
  3. Transfer it to a piping bag
  4. In a wide pan pour oil, once it is medium hot gently drop the batter in spiral shape into the hot oil(refer to video)
  5. Make sure the flame is on medium, flip it when one side is slightly golden and crisp!
