Creamy Shami Kebab Sliders

These Shami Kebab sliders are a flavor bomb! Mini slider buns stuffed with spicy delicious shami kebab and veggies followed by pouring a mint cream and baked to perfection! I’m sure you are going to love this one!

I’m focusing on nonfried and interesting recipes that makes you feel full and yet comforting to the tummy! I hope you all are enjoying my Ramadan series!

Ingredients

  • 220 gm boneless chicken or beef
  • 1/4 cup soaked channa daal
  • 4 to 5 cloves garlic
  • 5 to 6 dried red chilies
  • 1 tsp whole coriander seeds( you may also use powder)
  • 3/4th tsp cumin seeds
  • 2 cardamom pods
  • 1 stick cinnamon
  • 1/2 tsp chilly powder
  • salt to taste
  • water to cook

Pressure cook it for 3 to 4 whistles. Simmer the water if there is any and grind it to a paste. Add 2 green chilies, coriander leaves, lemon juice and mix well. If the mixture is dry add a tbsp of water and mix well. Make small patties out of it as per the size of the buns, dip it in egg white, and shallow fry it. You may serve it hot as it is, but let’s take it to the next level.

For the cream mixture

  • A handful of coriander leaves
  • Some mint leaves
  • 2 or 3 green chilies
  • salt to tatse
  • 2 tbsp yogurt and blend it to a smooth paste.
  • 170 gm cream
  • 2 cream cheese cube and blend well.

Assembling

  1. Spread 2 tbsp of cream on the base of a baking tray.
  2. Cut open the slider bun, spread some prepared sauce or mayo in it, place the kebabs and veggies you like close it with the other half of the bun.
  3. Now make the sauce to a slightly thin pouring consistency.
  4. Pour it all over the bun and bake it @200 degrees prheated oven for 10 to 15 minutes.
  5. Enjoy!
