Ingredients

1.A handful of Jeerakashala rice, soaked
2.Coconut milk from 1½ coconuts (thick & thin separated)
3.Sugar, as per taste
4.Cardamom powder, to taste
5. 5 ripe plantains, boiled and sliced
6. 1 cup boiled macaroni
(You may substitute with boiled channa dal or pidi)
Water or milk, to adjust consistency

POV (Easy version):
You may use 2 tins of thick coconut milk. Adjust the consistency by adding water.

Method
Rinse the soaked rice and grind it into a smooth paste.
In a thick-bottomed pan, add thin coconut milk, ground rice paste, sugar, and cardamom powder.
Mix well without lumps and cook on medium flame, stirring continuously, until the mixture thickens.
Add the boiled bananas and boiled macaroni. Mix gently.
Pour in the thick coconut milk, adjust sugar and consistency as needed.
Switch off the flame—do not boil after adding thick coconut milk.

Serve warm and enjoy this creamy, nostalgic Malabar delicacy.
