YAY that means you can find a particular recipe through that search button.I’m so glad today ,at last much awaited moment to disclose my website is here!Hope you all will love this new look and theme of my blog(website).Do like my Instagram page and fb page if you haven’t done so. Special thanks to all who helped me to make this possible.

Coming back to today’s recipe, it is a simple, elegant and healthy treat which is equally loved by kids and adults.Yes some healthy ingredients mixed up with chocolate and it’s the magical treat for kids. This is a great after school snack or lunch box idea for kids.Since i’m back from vacation just few days ago only this one comes to my mind!Getting back in track after a long vac is not at all an easy task isn’t it?My kids are badly missing all the fun and their grandparents!By looking at their face i’m sad too!

In this clusters i added, cornflakes, dates, walnuts and melted chocolate!Crunch from the flakes, chewy texture of dates and nuttiness from walnut along with that chocolate is a killer!Check the notes for the perfect clusters!Over to the recipe

Ingredients

  • 2 n 1/2 cups cornflakes
  • 10 dates chopped to small chunks
  • A handful of walnut chopped
  • 3/4 cup melted chocolate

Method

  1. Mix all the dry ingredient and pour the chocolate over it.Mix well with the help of a spatula until every bits of cornflakes and dry fruits are coated with chocolate.
  2. Line a parchment paper over a baking tray and with the help of an ice cream scoop drop it on it.Let it set in the refrigerator until its firm to touch.

Note: Tempering chocolate is very important here.(Chocolate should be completely cool to touch)

If you pour hot chocolate over the cornflakes it tends to become soggy.

You can store it in an airtight container and munch on it when ever you want!I’m sure your kids will love it!

Relish !

Happy Cooking!
