Chicken Noodles

Restuarant-style chicken noodles on the menu today! Yes, it’s more flavorful than they serve in restaurants! That juicy chicken strips with crunchy veggies coated in the saucy soft noodles are fav from kids to adults equally! Loaded with veggies which is great for kids which they enjoy without any mess!

I already shared a similar recipe for chicken chowmein long back! Today while I was preparing it, thought to take a video and share it with you all with some tips and tricks to get that perfect restaurant-style noodles

All you have to take care of here is do not overcook the veggies, stir fry it on high flame! Cut and keep ready all the veggies and then just toss it! Chinese cooking is so easy and fast! I just love it! Here cooking process doesn’t take much time, preps and chopping is a time-consuming task!

INGREDIENTS

  • 4 tbsp oil
  • 3 cloves garlic cut into strips
  • 1 small piece ginger cut in juliennes
  • Spring onion whites and greens
  • 2 carrots
  • 1 large green bell pepper
  • Small piece cabbage sliced
  • Some French beans
  • 2 tbsp soy sauce
  • 1 tbsp tomato sauce
  • 1 tbsp chili sauce
  • Salt to taste
  • 2 tsp pepper
  • 300 gm noodles
  • 1 large chicken breast fillet cut into strips marinated with salt, pepper, and soy sauce

Method

  1. Cut chicken into thin strips marinates it for 10 min.
  2. Boil noodles according to the instructions and keep them aside.
  3. .Cut all the veggies in julienne and keep it aside. ginger and garlic also spring onion whites and greens.
  4. Place large wok on the stove on high heat. Put garlic and ginger saute for a few sec add spring onion whites and stir
  5. Add marinated chicken in this and stir fry it for 3 minutes.(Do it in the same manner for the best result. The chicken will cook fully by the time all veggies are done)
  6. When you feel like your chicken is half done add veggies like carrot, beans, and stir fry it for some time (don’t overcook it)
  7. Add the bell pepper and cabbage after 2 to 3 minutes and cook it on high flame,
  8. Now add pepper, sauces, salt and mix well.
  9. Add boiled noodles stir it until everything is well combined and coated with each other.
  10. Lastly, add spring onion greens and switch off the flame. Serve it hot.
  11. Adjust the spices and sauces accordingly. My family like it this way
