
Crepe Cake & Crepe Pockets

Hello, my lovely people! It’s a long gap, right? Hope you all are doing well, Alhamdulillah I’m doing good too! I was just too lazy to upload the recipes and sit long hours in front of computers and editing! In the blink of an eye, Ramadan is approaching again and I’m so excited to welcome the holy month! As always I’m sharing some easy and delicious recipes for you all to tackle your problem of what-to-cook menu for Iftar!

Today I’m sharing two different ways to serve cheesy minced crepe recipes! 1st one is a fancy-looking crepe cake loaded with cheese, flavourful mince filling along with white sauce layered and baked to perfection! 2nd one is crepe pockets that can be served in single servings! Both are amazing in their own way!

so lets go to the recipe
Ingredients
For crepe
- 1 & 1/2 cup APF
- salt to taste
- 1 egg
- 1 & 1/2 cup milk and water as required
- some chilly flakes and parsley
Mix well without any lumps to make it a thin flowy consistency batter, Cook the crepes on a nonstick pan.
For the filling
- 400gm minced chicken
- 2 large onions or 3 small
- 2 green chilies
- 1tsp ginger garlic paste
- salt to taste
- Pepper 1 tbsp
- 1 tsp cumin powder
- 1/2 tsp garam masala
- 2 tbsp tomato paste
- 2 tbsp cream cheese
- parsley or cilantro
Other Ingredients
- Bechamel sauce
- mozzarella
- chilly flakes and parsley
Method
- Prepare crepes and keep it aside.
- For the filling in a pan pour some olive oil, cook onion, green chilly and ginger-garlic along with some salt until soft
- Then add the minced chicken and mash well, cover and cook it. Once its almost done add pepper powder, cumin and mix well.
- Add the tomato paste mix well and cook it for a few more minutes, add the cream cheese and mix well. switch off the flame and throw some parsley or cilantro
For Crepe Cake

Start the base with crepe, spread some white sauce followed by filling and cheese. Repeat the layers, Last one should be the crepe and then make the white sauce a little thin and pour it on top of the cake sprinkle some, mozzarella, chilly flakes, and filling on top. Bake it @200 degrees preheated oven for 10 minutes. Serve it hot and enjoy!¬
For the Crepe Pocket

Take one crepe spread the white sauce, stuff it, and add some cheese, fold it from four sides to get that square shape flip the folded side down and arrange it on a baking tray. Pour some white sauce on top followed by the cheese, chilly flakes and some filling bake it and enjoy!
