Chicken lollipop
Chicken lollipop is one such starter from kids to adults everyone loves alike! Crispy fried chicken lollipop coated in a sweet and spicy sauce with blasting garlic flavor is r a great starter for any party! This is one of my family’s favorite starter! Everyone has their own version, here is mine!
It’s so simple to prepare with 3 easy steps! Marinating, frying, and finally coating in the sauce! Here the crispiness depends on preparing the batter and frying chicken! So if you are a fan of the chicken lollipop and searching for a good recipe here you go, this one is for you!

Ingredients
Marinating Chicken
- 500 gm chicken wings cut and shaped like lollipops
- salt to taste
- 1 tsp vinegar
- 1 tbsp ginger garlic
- 1 tbsp soy sauce
- 1 tsp chilly powder
- some pepper powder
For Batter
- 1/2 cup all-purpose flour
- 1/4 the cup cornflour
- Chilly powder to taste
- salt
- 1 egg
- enough water to make a batter
For Sauce
- Â 2tbsp oil
- 1 tbs garlic
- 1 tsp ginger
- 1 green chilly finely chopped
- some dried red chilies
- 1 tbsp heaped tomato ketchup
- 1 tbsp soy sauce
- 1 tsp red chilly paste ( i mixed 1 1tsp chilli powder with some water to make a thick paste
- Some water
- Salt and sugar
- spring onion
Method
- Marinate chicken with the above-mentioned ingredients and let it rest for at least 1 hour.
- Prepare a thick batter with 2nd ingredient list.
- Dip the chicken in it and deep fry the lollipops. If you feel the chicken is not that crisp, double fry it!
- In a pan pour, oil add the ginger garlic and green chilies and cook it until it releases its heavenly aroma!
- Add dried red chilies, sauces, chilly paste, and cook it on low flame with some water.
- Let them cook until the rawness of the chilly disappears add salt and some sugar to balance the flavor.
- Add the fried chicken in it and coat well. Enjoy!
